General guidelines to guarantee a smoother process:

  1. If you're an international customer, please select the "No, I am not" option when asked about being a U.S. citizen or resident to be directed to the correct flow.
  2. For the notary session to be completed successfully, only provide one of the allowed ID types listed below; using anything other than the types listed below will cause the transaction to be rejected by the notary officer.
  3. You must have the chosen IDs on hand so you can take photos and upload them during the verification step required to complete the notary session.
  4. You must carefully review the form to ensure that all provided data is accurate before submitting it, to avoid having to generate and submit a new form.
  5. You need to ensure the ID forms used to verify your identity and address are valid, legible, unexpired, and with the information written in Latin alphabet (ABC..) and Arabic numerals (123..). Otherwise, you must inform the notary service provider that you require a translator, because the notary officer might not be able to verify the data on the 1583 if the IDs are written in a different language.
